Know your financial responsibilty

Based on your particular health plan coverage, you may be responsible for some or all of the charges, including deductibles, co-insurance and other non-covered amounts. You will receive a statement from Wisconsin Heart in the mail for the amount you owe. Payment is due upon receipt. If you are unable to pay when you receive the statement, you must immediately contact our business office to make payment arrangements. Our staff is eager to assist you so we can avoid referring an unpaid account to a collection service or having to reschedule future appointments due to outstanding balances.

Your insurance policy may include a co-insurance responsibility for medical services provided. After your insurance has made payment according to policy and/or contractual guidelines, a portion of the fee, according to your insurance policy, may be applied to the balance you owe, and you will see this balance on your Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Institute statement.

If you have difficulty paying your Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Institute bill, please contact our business office at (608) 260-2202; toll free (866) 234-4181. Payment plans are available if you need to spread out payments over a period of time. Our staff can provide you with  information about community and government aid that may be available to you. We can also work with you to determine whether you qualify for our Financial Assistance Program.

We are available to review your account. Please do not hesitate to call us for help. We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, Visa or MasterCard.
